I need a new pair, all I have are some elderly roshe runs (ya I know) and I need a major upgrade. budget is 140$, but I'd prefer not to push it that high if possible.
What are the best quality, dependable, most /fa/ running shoes you know of?

Do you need them for casual wear or running?
>>12153705
New Balance 574
bump, not OP but need good /fa/ shoes for running
>>12153705

Ultra Boosts,Alpha Bounce,Adizero prime, Flyknit Free range(I like 4.0s but I think the number system us dead), Lunarepic or Flyknit Racers
I would actually recommend getting your gait and running style checked if you're actually serious about running and buying the best for your style. I'd rather wear some autismo looking Asics,Brooks or New Balance over the ones I mentioned.

thanks for legit reply. im fairly new to running properly and routinely (new years resolutions and all) so dont know much about my running style really. just looking for something versatile and well made and good looking and i dont know shit about runners. i'll check out the ones you mentioned thanks

>(ya I know)
what did he mean by this?

roshe runs are intended more as casual wear than actual running shoes, i think. theyre not built as running shoes / dont have proper support that running nikes do etc
As a runner, running shoes are not about the fashion. Actually, in a weird way, the uglier the better (asics, new balance) and I personally like Newtons. If you want something that looks good get some nike fly knits. Whatever you do, try to get some minimalist running shoes and look at videos about midfoot atriking and proper form before you fuck up your joints.

I usually just buy a pair of whatever generation of FlexRun Nike is on. They're not effay, but they're decent running shoes and I can wear them with jeans if I'm feeling lazy or don't care what I look like. Also I don't feel bad beating the shit out of them, which is something else I like in my workout shoes.
I got these, and they're pretty damn /fa/ if you ask me.
I wear the gel cumulus asics shoes. Ugly as fuck but great shoes. Just go to a local running store and ask them to recommend shoes for your form. Running gear doesn't have to be /fa/, no one is going to be eyeing your running fits.

They're lifestyle shoes based on the EQT runners from the 90s.

Running. I'm looking for athlete tier shit that's /fa/
>>12154671
OP here, yeah I've been staring intently at the alpha bounce. anyone have experience with them ITT? Have a pair of New Balance btw, got them for running but holy shit they have 0 cushioning. make good work shoes.

why all the obnoxious fucking neon colors tho?
I have an edgy techwear running fit, and there's enough top tier running shoes out there to pick based on fashion and not lose performance
>>12154963
The neon colors are functional for visibility. Also it sounds like you're into cushioned shoes which is the opposite trend of where runners are going. I'll recommend the flyknit racer and merrel vapor glove as fashionable minimalist shoes and the flyknit lunar as a cushioned alternative. The Alphaboost look good and are cushioned well but the heel seems too high to me. If that's your cup of tea go for it, I'm just a huge believer in minimalist shoes.

>I'm looking for athlete tier shit that's /fa/
There really is no point to this. No one cares what you wear when you're running
Better to have a shoe that fits you and your feet, instead of something that looks good but isn't good for you.
>I have an edgy techwear running fit
Stop being this tryhard and go to a sports store and try out different models and ask the emplyees for help.
They'll help you find the best shoe for you
>>12154737 This guy knows what he is talking about
My Mizuno wave inspire 12's are absolutely horrible in terms of looks, but they perform well and fit perfectly.
>>12154945
These aren't
OP just get Alphabounce they're an all around good sneaker for 100 bucks. Boosts are more pricy. Get the EM onces they look nicer
