Fossil, and other fashion watch brands like Relic, are definitely bottom tier watches, but at the very least, most of them have stainless cases and Japan Miyota movements. The true shit tier watches have brass cases and Chinese garbage movements.

The thing about this triangle is that it attempts to give you a strict definition of what's good and bad without taking into consideration the situation that you're buying the watch for.
If you're buying for a girl, then in most cases Fossil is just fine as a purchase.
If you're trying to get into minimalist without spending a fortune, then MVMT watches on ebay (which are honestly just as good as the "genuine" ones on their site for 10 times more the cost since both use garbage chinese movements anyway) are fine since all you want is the look anyway.
