I go to a pretty big campus, and I can assure you that every single person there with facial hair that isn't a five o' clock shadow has never done manual labor in their life and is entirely undependable when it comes to getting things done. I've been grouped with them dozens of times for projects and they have to carried every single time. Either they're libarts majors or reddit tier wannabe programmers.

I've been growing my chin beard for about one and a half years now and it's coming along really well and contrasts nicely with my somewhat receding hairline which was one of the initial motivations to let it grow in the first place

Been using some beard oil on it to keep it smooth but how do i actually keep it in form? I've never had to look this up but now that the beard hair is approaching 8+cm in length i need to know how to do this

This is ~month of not shaving (except the neckbeard and sides - I have pale, thin, sporadic hair there).
IRL the beard is darker and doesn't blend with skin that much, but you can see, that below my nose I have short, pale hair, and below my lips I have hardly anything.

My question is: should I let it grow some more and see what happens? Maybe use hair paint to change color? (make the invisible pale hair darker, the beard is already gingerish and I have dark brown hair)
Or maybe trim it to one level until short, weak hair catch up? (I doubt this would happen tho)

Goatees: yay or nay? Currently sporting one but its an unkempt mess and I don't don't how to trim with with just getting an electric razor and shaving off most of it once it gets longish. In terms of doing subtle trimming jobs to just even it out I have no clue
