That Mission Workshop website is beyond gay. It's so fucking useless, what's the point of even having a website? They don't show you photos of the different bags in the different colors, so it's impossible to know what the bags look like. You can try looking for them on Google Images, but then the images are shitty and all look different. Straight-up retards; it figures it's a Bay Area company. I just spent three hundred dollars on another bag, because if they're such idiots they can't even communicate simple, basic information via their website, then surely they're too incompetent to make decent quality products.

I have the Nile Obsidian bag and I have to say I have never felt out of place with it. I get compliments often for it and the worse I got is, "it looks like a turtle shell". In general, it has plenty of pocket space and works well for most occasions. I also have never seen anyone else with a cote et ciel bag so it has a sense of uniqueness to it.

If you are the type to not want to draw attention to yourself in any way, then this is not a bag for you.

I wear it with pretty much anything though. Basic fuccboi outfits, gothier outfits, cuckcore, etc. I don't often dress like an urban ninja so it definitely isn't the only option.

I tried the isarau, the isar and the nile. They are all super chunky and provide relatively small usable space. They are just huge style assesoires.

I mean I wouldn't use mine for any sort of hardcore hiking our utility, but it's been about a year, almost everyday for school, some camping and hiking, travel, etc. Except for dirt and patina on the leather it looks basically new. The one issue I've had is some loose ends for threads which hadn't been clipped down enough and the two bits that hold the straps to the body have pulled slightly away from the bag at their tops. You have to be okay with just throwing stuff into it or coughing up for some organizers, but that's cool by me. Love mine (pic related when I first got it)

I honestly wish I'd gotten a more boring color, like the navy ones with horween bottom. The orange looks great with a forest green imo or if you're wearing other outdoorsy type gear like an anorak of fleece, but I find that it's not necessarily conducive the the darker color palate I tend to aim for. It's definitely not black tie formal, but I haven't ever needed to bring a bag to an event like that. Really depends on where you are and where you're working. I live in Seattle and I work at a not-so-formal tech company so it fits right in. Comes in other colors too like black and navy.

The briefcase isn't as thick as in the picture, that's another model that's discontinued.
