I did it. its cool i think, i agree though it kinda makes you look homeless or disheveled or something but im okay with that. Just make sure you cut both evenly, its easy to do. they look really good with boots

try cuffing them to the length you would chop them, and see if you feel comfortable/feel like you can pull htem off in public.

i like to cut them and then fold them up once. only about a half inch cuff altogether.
