The dryzzle jacket is cheap, will look cheap and will not keep you dry for long.

I wish Carhartt made a decent waterproof jacket. I'd love to find a simple hooded coat that would last forever. Anyone have any suggestions?

carhartt nimbus is a good waterproof. It's not thick enough for winter on it's own though.

When it comes to military style jackets which colour is better: black or traditional olive green? I was leaning more towards green, but I don't want to be perceived as the weird guy obsessed with the military.

Thanks homies, those both look fucking top-notch. The Freeman looks like the epitome of mod-ish perfection for shitty, rainy weather. Strongly reminds me of an updated harrington, which I guess is kind of an obvious observation. A wee bit pricey, but I guess you get what you pay for, I don't know. Judging purely by their website it looks very high-quality. But I'm about an inch away from buying a burgundy nimbus though, 'cos I pretty much always wear a backpack nowadays, and I think it would probably pair really well together.

I need to find a jacket that'll keep me warm for the whole winter!

That jacket would be killer if didn't have the stupid-ass logos/branding/writing on it.

Regardless though, unless you live on the West Coast it probably won't be warm enough.
