I experience that when I get packages from Australia and sellers always hit me up for extra money cuz they underestimate shipping costs

Th USA is a third-world country. They can't help having shitty infrastructure.

they charge us more just because
then they charge more for shipping, ebay is the worst culprit by far
then we cop the exchange rate

buy from elsewhere, it's really the only answer
the UK, eastern europe, china, vietnam, italy

auspost have actually started a shipping address in the US, because they recognize it's such an issue
send to them and they forward it
it's still expensive, and a lot of sites in the US will inflate prices by your IP, not your postal address
