The bookstore is probably Kinokuniya, they have stores all over the bay area with the largest in Japantown. Idk about fashion stores myself.

It's nice to read magazines, and the whole mall is pretty fun. I recommend taking pictures at the photobooth (if its still there) and getting crepes in that mall.

I'd go check out the bridge as its a fun thing to do even though there are a fuck ton of tourist. Twin Peaks is also pretty cool. Haight Ashbury is nice to walk through I guess. North Beach is very scenic and not too many homeless. SOMA is cool but tech trash and homeless everywhere. The ferry building is a good place to get gifts for friends and family. Dolores park is cool if you're a hipster faggot. Nice view of the city.

Food,
Hot Sauce and Panko, great wings and waffles, but check their hours b4 you go, good lunch. Sushirito is cool too.

Pacific Brewery in the Mission District

Lolinda for a nice dinner, maybe make some reservations.

San Tung is OK chinese food, their wings are famous.

Just go to the Castro District and walk around. You'll find stores.
