How would I go about growing my hair like this or something similar?

Your best bet would be to let it grow to a little more than halfway to that point, then have someone trim it to make sure everything is relatively even, then just let it go the rest of the way. And, of course, only wash with shampoo rarely.

I want to see one candid photo of anyone on here who doesn't wash their hair with shampoo or does so less than 3 times a week. Because this a fucking meme that needs to stop. Unless you are a woman and your hair produces no sweat or oil shampoo is a daily necessity.

i think some people (myself included) can get away with shampooing twice a week, but i still have to at least wet it some everyday to keep it from looking shit. it really depends on the person but any less than twice a week is almost guaranteed to look awful, unless you have absolutely killer greasy hair genes and can pull off the look (which is probably nobody here)
