Why does every fucking youtuber first wets his hair before styling it. Then styles it. Then uses a blow dryer to fuck it all up. Then styles it again in the same way.
The fuck is the point of the blow dryer and styling it before drying it up?
Why not just wet your hair use a towel or some shit. Then style it. Or why not style your hair without any wetting just put product and you are good to go?

1. This question could have gone in the general thread.
2. Layering product to achieve height requires damp hair to distribute the first product then blow dry to style and lastly a quick shot of the dryer again to finish and set the second product.

Huh? No they don't? AFAIK they just blow dry their damp hair (for volume) then styles the voluminous mess made with the blowdryer.

Whats the difference between a blowdryer and a towel?
>>11950546
Towel-drying may damage hair
>>11950546
Towel drying still leaves you with damp hair. A blowdryer gives your hair better hold.

I am pretty sure a blow dryer isn't even a "may". It will damage your hair.

if you rub your head with the towel - sure. but if you pat it gently, everything will be fine
Rubbing the product into dry hair may pull it out
