Suits are such an arbitrary dress-code. Wish guys could wear other things and still be considered formal.

My issue is also on the cuts and materials. Its like if they could have, they would have canned wine. But they could only cork it so now its muh trudition. We do enforce it in every workplace that's worth a damn. If you get an interview with an investment bank and you show up in some ill-fitting heap of shit letting them know you can't wear a suit, you won't get the job no matter how sharp you are. From there the whole suit wearing thing trickles down more and more sloppily until the shit pools at the security guard level.
