Thrifting is a good place but make sure you're not just buying random stuff. When I go out to thrift, I think of things that I'm missing in more wardrobe. (Hmmm, I need a black sweater, I need a pair of light wash jeans, etc.) I also go often without actually buying things.

Also leggings are so fucking boring holy shit. I know they're comfortable but come on.

Find some local shops and look at the materials irl instead, as hififnk is only basic stuff so it should be possible.

Op, my advice for you is to just explore more. Instead of wasting time on shit like fast fashion and fashion memes, go explore designer stuff.
Now, you don't need to buy designer, it can cost a lot.
Instead just explore and just remember what you like, and when you find something similar or when it's cheap, you buy it.

I feel like developing a sense of style is just a lot of trial and error.
You explore, then you buy and then you will feel either good or bad about your purchase.
This is just what I think. Surely some people disagree with me, feel free to tell us about your perspective, I'm curious.
