Also wet jp store for akira and shopping with asian stereotypes has a few asuka t's (I think).

The only difference between "masterpieces that elevate anime to an artform" and "edgy exploitative shock-value garbage" is that the former are a little more famous and were shown on TV.

Personally I think that MD Geist is at least as deserving of praise as the gigantic meme that is Evangelion.

Anime-inspired clothing shouldn't have anime characters on it.
It should be like really subtle cosplay that looks good.

All those clothes don't "straddle the line between fashion and weeb", they simultaneously scream "GOOFY NERD WHO THINKS HIS ANIMAYS ARE COOL" and "LOW-POWERLEVEL NORMIE".
Nobody would admire you for wearing that shit, it's the worst conceivable way to showcase your love for anime.
