Can't see the hips from the side but ass doesn't look too bad. Ass sticking out a bit might just be due to your posture, it looks a bit like you're sticking your butt out unnecessarily.

you're supposed to extend your arms straight up as high as you can to make sure the shirt can fit relaxed in the back, then you pull some of the back out, bout n in and a half or so, this will help round out the shirt and essentially act as a folded drape or curtain.
