Might grab a black pullover hoodie, provided you fucclords don't buy out everything from the hype.

Never been disappointed by the uniqlo stuff that I have so far (windproof sweatpants, socks, graphic tee) so some new f/w basics from this collection would be great, as uni is leaving me broke as hell.
>>
>>11795859

That blocktech trenchcoat looks good, wish it was longer, but would cop.
>>
What exactly is Uniqlo U supposed to be? Is it just a collab with Lemaire again?
>>
>>11796129
Pretty much yes, but now the whole collab thing will be going under the line in which Lemaire is a director. It means long time relationship between the both.
>>
does any of you have an educated guess whether it's going to be sold out instantly or if it'll be there for days before getting sold out? i'm thinking about buying a down jacket, but have really no experience with uniqlo what so ever and i have no idea how hyped uniqlo u is

also, how are uniqlo's (down) jackets in size? I'm somewhere inbetween M and L, but I was planning on getting L as an M jacket can be a bit tight
>>
>>11796170
The speed of selling is based on the whole run. The winter collab was limited so it gone fast. The summer one has a big run to reach every single store so it was there for some time.
The U thing is announced as limited but is has no huge letters indicating that it's Lemaire so really I don't know what to expect.
>>
>>11796013
That brown hoodie is the only thing I really want. I hope no one else likes it

They remind me of archive Lemaire hightops, but they are def from the U line — look at the rectangle lace holes, the same ones go through the whole collection, in this hoodie >>11796013 for example
>>
>>11796013
>>11796215
it's just a fucking hoodie jesus christ you people are hype victims
>>
>>11796149
Is it going to match the regular uniqlo stuff in terms of presentation and price, or is it going to get some separate attention as maybe a more upscale and more expensive collection?
>>
>>11796345
But there's no footwear announced on Uniqlo's website
>>
>>11796170
i don't think it's going to be as hard to get

the collection will actually be carried (albeit not the full line) by a lot of smaller uniqlo stores, not just major ones like we've seen the last few times

there should be a thing on the internet somewhere that will tell you whether the stores around you will have it
>>
>>11796402 Prices are listed http://www.uniqlo.com/UniqloU/us/ they p much the same as usual uniqlo stuff. All cashemere stuff is pricey though

>>11796408 They might be saving them for the next release. Maybe some issues with the production, I don't know.
>>
>>11796069
Depends on what you mean. Right now aside from some pants/jeans, an oxford, and maybe a bomber, I can't afford much else - I'm looking at Frank & Oak and COS for that stuff too. I want a competent weatherproof/waterproof 3/4 length coat of some kind like what Veilance has, but there's no way I can afford that. Not looking at Uniqlo or any of these budget brands for performance stuff like that either.

>>11796215
Same with me and the black one lol.

>>11796350
Basic hoodies that don't fit like a trashbag are usually overpriced (Reigning Champ, APC), I'm mainly considering this one because it's cheap and I want to try out Uniqlo x Lemaire stuff. It's being offered and I don't have any hoodies, so why not?
>>
>>11795844
Is the 'female' model in the all white outfit wearing shoes? Its difficult to tell if theyre just generic ones or not.
>>
Is it acceptable to wear cheaper basics with high end stuff? Got a really nice Undercover coat from my trip to Japan, but need some stuff to basic stuff to accompany it. Don't really have enough money to invest into Acne basics (wear their tees though, but sweats are too expensive) and RC doesn't fit me that well.

Is there actually any confirmation if UUUU is higher quality (kind of black label) or same as rest of UC?
>>
I like the look but im dissapointed that this collection is significantly more expensive than their regular stuff.

Kind of sucks.
>>

I don't need to learn shit to know this is a million times worse than the last lemaire collab.

If you need plain basics, this is probably gonna interest you. But there is nothing in here that will grab someone's attention, ever.
>>
>>11798155
dont think you understand the point of this m8
the clothes are supposed to look like uniqlo, thats what this whole thing is about, lemaire designing uniqlo clothes, the lemaire collabs on the other hand was him making his lemaire style clothes, just using uniqlo to make and distribute it
your point is essentially like complaining that his work for hermes or lacoste wasnt 'lemaire' enough for you, which is completely missing the point
>>
Anyone has experience how to ship Uniqlo to countries they dont ship to ?
They dont ship to Czech Republic YET they ship to fucking Slovakia
>>
>>11798207
There should be a definition on what is "basics" because cashmere turtleneck sweater doesn't seem basic to me.
>>
>>11798227
I understand the point. I just think it's a boring point. This is why Uniqlo is doing shitty in the US. This brand is just boring, boxy, and overpriced. Their fall/winter clothes is also way too warm for the weather we are getting. They had huge markdowns last year, I'm sure it will happen again with this collection.

>>
does uniqlo ever do cardigans
>>
>>11799738
I think they have cashmere cardigans
>>
>>11799217
Uniqlo is like the more boring and overpriced cousin of those two. It wants to be Zara without doing anything fashionable. I do recommend their single color t-shirts though. Although, if there was a Primark where I live, I would buy them there instead since it's half the price of Uniqlo.
>>
>>11799777
uniqlo isn't expensive and zara shamelessly rips off literally everybody in their shit, they have nothing original or fashionable and their quality is genuine garbage
>>
>>11799777
>uniqlo wants to be zara

you blind?
>>
>>11799780
Zara's quality is actually insane for their price. A lot of their stuff is done in Portugal, Spain and Turkey. Uniqlo is 100% Chinese sweatshop.

Zara doesn't have anything fashionable but Uniqlo does? How does this even make sense? Zara copies what's fashionable. Although, a lot of their stuff can be over the top. Bu not everyone can afford 200+ for every garment they buy.
>>
>>11799821
uniqlo is all super basic but it's good quality for the money, especially cause everything is on sale all the time

I've had a good jacket from zara but it's like 5 years old at this point and I think they got worse with their quality over time. had two pairs of pants from there and a sweater and the pants weren't wearable after like 2 weeks (stretched out to absolute fuck) and the sweater pilled like fucking crazy
plus it's actually fucking embarrassing to be wearing all those designer ripoffs they're selling imo

if you want cheap fast fashion just get hm, it's the same quality as zara for half the money
>>
>>11799791
Without context yeah. The "without doing anything fashionable" part matters there. If you think Uniqlo doesn't want to be a stronger fast fashion alternative, you're insane. Problem is it doesn't do anything fashionable. It's all ill-fitting basics.
>>
>>11799838
Michael Kors is an embarrassing to wear rip off brand. Zara is different enough that it's wearable. Literally everyone wears something from it. And they do small batches of their stuff, so it's very rare you will find someone else wearing what you are.

Zara sweaters are really garbage quality. desu

T-Shirts are very, very cheap to make. Their materials cost nothing. Therefor, I only like to pay a modest sum for them, why purchase something that has the price raised by 50-60$ to brand it as more of a luxury product? In this case I am talking about Acne, its only a marginally better t, since uniqlo is being made for lardies.

Usually the collabs are just a few flagships and online. Supposedly this was a wide release, but then I heard they scaled it back. The special website used to list the items and the availability but UNIQLO fucked up and broke the website so you can't see anymore.

If you aren't around Toronto or 5th Ave, assume it's just online.

Hey man. Not the same anon but planning on buying the same coat in camel. How does it stand up after some time? Does it pill up, lose form? Is it thick enough to offer some protection against colder weather?
>>
>>11808275
Thru
>>
Damn, I want this turtleneck so bad.
>>
>>11808614

Is there currently a camel color scheme? The one I ordered was brown. They advertise it in the pictures as being camel colored, but its quite a bit darker than that.

I haven't worn it (still 70 degrees freedumb), but I can say I doubt it will pill up. It's a very smooth to the touch without any loose disgusting fibers. It's very much thick enough to hold up against cold weather unless you live in a icy wasteland. In that case, I doubt you were expecting one coat to do all that.

Nice parts about the coat
>slit in the back comes fastened with a simple string you can cut
>Soft fleece lining on the inside
>2 drop pickets on the left
>buttoned pocket on the right
>Simple flap pockets on the outside
>Can upturn collar and the underside is covered in wind resistant fabric

I'd say its pretty decent desu, but darker than what is shown in the pictures or their lighting is just amazing.

Does anyone have any idea how the sizing on this stuff is?

In Uniqlo L is normal human size for me, I'm wondering if this stuff will be slightly oversized if I go L or if I have to go XL for that
XL might be overkill, I'm not sure

Why can't they just tell me how tall the models are that would make it much easier
>>
>>11812887
they sized their shit up to fit american frames in the last few years, don't expect anything to be particularly tight
>>
>>11812887
I always buy Uniqlo stuff in two sizes because their cuts are inconsistent as fuck. Check the size chart against an item that you already own and buy two sizes with roughly the same measurements.
>>
>>11799821
>>11799838
Lol no

Agree with the other guy zara went to absolute shit pretty quickly. Their tees feels more polyestery than ever, and that phase where they tried to sell goodninja shit was pure cringe. I only have one pair of faded skinny jeans i ripped up at the knees cz why not and i'll admit the stretch fabric makes them comfy, but nothing they've made recently comes close to it.

My main issue is how they try to present themselves as being of higher quality while being the equivalent of h&m with a little extra bling, no substance.

Their fake leather jackets sucks ass, their suits and blazers just feels tacky and charged at a premium, and their footwear feel like plastic moulds.

I haven't copped anything from them since realizing I can get higher quality "designer" items at their price points if I digged through hard enough. My ute ploier pants from their flux collection costed me like 70$ including shipping brand new and thats just one example.

Yeah I've tried on Acne coats before and they're nothing special. I've got the coat from the first Qlo Lemaire collection and the material feels just as nice (it's a bit thinner but I didn't like how stiff the Acne one was anyway).

All that being said though, this one has a 50% wool 50% poly body and they're charging almost as much as the Wool Cashmere blend from last year, I wouldn't jump at this one desu.

The image I posted is from the first Qlo Lemaire collection and it's the one I have. It's more Lemairey and minimal with the hidden buttons and stealth pockets.

The new one (the one in the image you replied to originally) is a bit more basic looking and has a lot of polyester in it yet they're only charging like £20 less. I'd go for the BlockTech one instead if you want a coat from this collection, it's cheaper and at least it does something.

items in stores are more or less second hand from the amount of grimy people trying them on anyways

>implying lyst is an h&m and asos retailer
are you retarded do you even know what lyst is
not every coat you see is going to be perfect for you stop glorifying fast fashion and being spoon fed from uniqlo
