Anyone know the type of glasses that Barb from Stranger Things wears?
Also, what is your opinion on fake glasses. I want to start wearing overly large ones, as I have a very oval shaped face, and I think a pair of overlarge glasses would kind of bring back the focus to my eyes.
Also, glasses thread.

Don't fucking do this.

Why??
Not to be rude, but, these days you usually find those types of glasses in the elderly section of your opticians, anything with that clear/cream styled tint on the glasses and excessively large frame are usually targeted at OAP's, as it makes it easier for them to see all around their glasses.
Nothing wrong with that, but just try your local optician and see what they have.

No don't do it. Only wear glasses if they are prescription otherwise you look like a dickhead.

>even considering this
pathetic

But how would people know?

It's fake and childish. And you can tell by looking at the person's face through the glasses.
I just finished binging that show last night. It was shit but i felt obligated to finish it.
Felt derivative, gimmicky like that JJ Abrams Super 8, parody tier, forced and not organic at all. Like early Spielberg, etc.
Also the last drop that spoiled Joy Division.

Nah, you are asking too much for a show that's light entertainment. It's meant to be a tribute to the cheesy shows from the 80s, and also the classic movies. The soundtrack is amazing, and the acting is too. And also the show is pretty effay too

I am currently enjoying it. As anon said good acting and sick soundtrack. Its sci fi, its supposed to be far fetched

Its also very effay

They look like cazal glasses

there's a stigmata against non-prescription glasses for some stupid reason but i think the right frames can complement/accentuate one's facial features really well as an accessory
if you're confident enough to ignore pettiness i'd say try it out. hit up your local optician and test them out in person if you can; there's a lot of nuances in fitting for glasses that is hard to gauge through shopping online. if you want something cool; try seeing if there's an optician that specializes in vintage eyewear; you can usually find a lot of fun stuff in stores like that
this is coming for a guy who is nigh blind without glasses for 15 years

it's like pretending to be retarded just because you want to wear a helmet
