Too many camwhores seem to enjoy them, and they've kinda left a bad mark on them for me. However, stalkings are still pretty ladylike and much nicer imo. Tbh, even high socks on girls (especially girls with thick legs) makes me think "i need attention", "check out how cute i look in these", "ask me if I'm single", etc. It's like needless temptation for a weak heart like mine.

It's like one of those articles of clothing on women that really takes away from everything above the waist, same with short shorts, coochie cutters, whatever you wanna call em. I guess thigh highs make more sense to me as an indoor thing, to stay comfy, or with a long enough skirt that the legs aren't very visible?
