Proportions sort of go out the window in the traditional sense when it comes to Rick - these things are abitrary, or at the very least relative. So matching the length of your crotch to your height isn't nearly as important as matching the proportions of the rest of your outfit. Longer tees, bulkier shoes, etc. Also, Rick makes mega-drop pods and they are incredible, and regular pods on a short person won't ever reach that level of extended proportions.

I've reached a point where I'm satisfied with my collection of everyday Rick pieces but it just makes me want to get deeper into the weirder shit that requires a full Rick wardrobe.

As for blistered lamb - I've basically been field testing mine for several months, as I wear it whenever weather permits (not too frequent these days) and I wear things pretty hard. I haven't seen any noticeable wear yet, except maybe some patches get a little more "suede-like".

On Vogue they have two articles about designer collections per season: one for ready to wear and one for menswear. So for Rick the ready to wear is his womens collection and menswear is for mens. But the thing is. if menswear isn't ready to wear meaning they make the clothing with different sizes, then it would be made to order. But Rick's clothes for men aren't made to order, I see them in stores with various sizes. So what exactly do the terms mean?

Snakes are pretty cheap, after you actually buy them. That's my friend's boa constrictor in the picture but I have a ball python of my own.

I spend about $10 a month on food (one rat every two weeks) and $20 every few months for new substrate. I think the actual snake and tank setup is around $200, but I just adopted mine from a friend.

Yeah they should last you a fair bit longer than canvas, although the sole wears the same on both - and that'll be the first thing you need to fix. I don't think a sole repair is worth it on canvas Ramones but I'd do it for leather.

Leather is definitely more painful to break in but it softens up and molds to your feet much better.

The canvas isn't bad at all, it's just the leather is going to last longer. It's double layered canvas. I've had my canvas Ramones for about 2 years and with regular wear I have basically no damage to the upper.

I look in the 3-400 range for canvas and 5-600 for leather, if we're talking really good condition. That's the lowest I've seen them go for brand new retail.

The one time I thought I could size down half was in tech runners but the 42.5 was too tight.

sole will wear out before the uppers on both. If you catch it before the heel is all ground down you can probably resole for a reasonable price and it would be worth it in either material. I honestly haven't seen someone wear through the uppers on a rick shoe, canvas or leather. Not to say it's never been done, but I have seen a bunch of fucked up soles, some well-done resoles, some popped seams, and a few broken zippers, which could all happen in either material.

You likely won't find main line ramones new for $400, unless it's a really undesirable colorway. I haven't had to have a sneaker resoled yet. I would keep an eye on the heel, and don't let the wear extend beyond the sawtooth part. Drkshdw soles have a flat part at the back, which should help them wear longer. In either case, a cobbler would grind the whole sawtooth section flat and cement on a new thin sole. You can try get something similar to the RO sawtooth, like the vibram mini ripple (pic related). I think resoles stand out more with white soles, but whadayagonnado?

those mainlines are really rough, and the drkshdw are brand new. I'd go with the drkshdw, if you don't mind the lack of toecap. I think those are the best iteration of the vegans, but that's a personal preference...keep in mind the uppers are shiny. Price isn't terrible for brand new drkshdw and you wouldn't have to resole for a long time, depending on how much you wear them.
