These kinds of tattoos are only a good idea on paper. Who is this tattoo for? Is it for yourself? If so, why not just actually go "obtain it yourself" instead of just writing it down on your body, if you really need a reminder on your leg to do things for yourself, you're probably not the type of person who will ever actually do much. The only reason 95% of people get tattoos is because they have this idea that it makes them look interesting or tough and then once someone asks them about the doodle on their body, they show everyone how much of a fool they really are as they stand around trying to mumble a decent justification for having a pistol with a rose imprinted on their ribs for the rest of their life. The best thing they usually say is the honest truth that they just thought it looked cool, which again only reinforces what everyone was already thinking anyway, but at least he's honest enough to admit it. The timeless excuse people use when they know they have no good justification for what they're doing. As I said, I like the aesthetic. I have a few tattoos, some bigger ones that have been done by respected tattooers, some by beginners. And honestly, the one that means the least are the ones I'm the most happy with. Because after a while, you usually stop thinking about the look, and you only remember the associations. And a tattoo without meaning reminds me of the rush of getting one, while the ones with meaning often just serve as proof of memories turning sour.
