How to get rid of large thighs??

The problem that I have is that I'm relatively thin everywhere else (6 ft 1, 153 lbs) but I have these huge, thick thighs. Theyre both muscular and fat somehow and to make it worse I have thin ankles and calves so it just increases the effect. I'm ok with losing muscle and fat as long as my legs won't look like carrots. What exercises should I do? /fit/ gives retarded advice that would fuck up my legs more by making them larger. Should I do distance running? I know spot reducing isn't real and I'm already eating at a caloric deficit.

Firstly, this board is for fashion, not your medical problems. Secondly, go read the sticky on /fit/. Thirdly, "spot training" or training a body part/muscle group in order to reduce fat around that body part/muscle group is a myth.

They might seem smaller in pictures but mine are huge. I have to buy straight fit jeans and tailor them from the knee down, and even then the thigh area still fits kind of slim

If your legs naturally look like that, that is, they look like that without you doing leg workouts to build leg muscle, then there isn't much you can do. Sure, you can probably starve yourself and lose some fat/muscle but it would be accompanied with fat and muscle loss everywhere else as well. Your best bet is to put on some muscle on your upper body so that you look more balanced.This is also a much healthier option than starving yourself.

I used to cycle a lot bc my old job was pretty close to where I lived, I think my legs were still pretty large even before then but the whole quadricep outer muscle never protruded out like that. Does that change anything or no? Really don't want to build my upper body more because I'll have a hard time fitting into clothes

Probably doesn't change much. I doubt you would have trouble fitting into clothes if you put on a little bit of muscle in your chest and shoulders.
