imo the upper is fine, really stretchy but maintains its shape so as long as you dont get it caught on anything sharp you'll be ok

as for the sole, its soft and wears down quick, and its extra noticable because of how round they are when you get them
i cringe if i ever accidentally drag my foot
my advice is even if you're super excited to wear them, try to keep it to once or twice a week, and be careful when walking
