Which Levis do you wear?
>>
>>11230530
>skinny looks baggier than slim and straight cuts
dude what
>>
>>11230530
559s cause my legs are getting bigger, very comfortable not baggy but the leg opening is bit too big. 501s used to be my shit but the crotch seams always fray and split I have no idea why.
>>
>>11230530
510, I'm a skeleton so it looks good on me.
>>
>>11230544
>it looks good on me
No it doesn't. You look like a girl. Eat more and lift, faggot.
>>
508s are goat
>>
>can never get Levis because it takes 45min to find a pair that fit like they should.

Pretty much impossible with the Macy's sale going on right now (2nd half off plus 25% off whole purchase). Not going to overspend at a retail Levi's.
>>
511 is the single best pair of jeans I've ever owned
>>
>>11230609
stop wasting your time
the only thing that needs to fit well is the waist, make sure the length is sufficient, then take it to tailor to get it exactly how you want
>>
508 and then get it tailored from the knee down.
>>
>>11230617
And how much should (or will) I be spending on a tailor?
>>
>>11230622
depends on what you need altered and how drastically
i got jeans tapered for 15-20, never had anything hemmed yet but i can't imagine it being more expensive than tapering
>>
>>11230622
My Korean lady charges me $8 for a hem $20 for hem and tailoring.

511.
Also, what to wear with this pair?
I have no idea.
511 commuter.
>>
>>11230530
if the 541 is athletic why is a fat guy wearing it
>>
>>11230665
Hard to tell if he's fat there.
>>
>>11230530
501 STFs, but they aren't my best pair. Definitely comfiest though, since I've beaten 'em to death.
>>
510, They've held up incredibly well, I wear them frequently and so far no tears, just fading. Have got a lot of compliments on them
>>
>>11230665
Ive seen dudes wear them in the locker room. If you dont have big quads and a thick torso theyll look baggy af on you.

>>11230668
Im thinking of getting a pair but hear the sizing is weird as fuck cause of course they shrink significantly. Do you get your size or smaller/bigger?
>>
>>11230717
Three sizes bigger in all respects. They shrink in a BIG way. For example, if you wear 30, get 33 or 34. Ditto with length. Two sizes up might be okay if you want something much tighter, but I wouldn't risk it myself.
>>
>>11230617
>>11230622
>>11230634
>>11230650

makes no sense to spend ~$20 tailoring a $20 pair of jeans.
>>
>>11230805
3 sizes??? God damn so theres no breaking them in you buy em, wash em first then wear them?
>>
>>11230817
makes all the sense in the world if it fits you well and looks good, but i wouldn't expect a fuccboi like yourself who cares more about branding than anything else to understand lmao
>>
527 bootcut master race reporting.
>>
>>11230663
white T. cuff em and wear white socks and black shoes maybe sk8his or even old skools
>>
>>11230819
The best strategy is to soak them in hot water and let them shrink up a lot, wear them around baggy, shrink, wear, etc. until you eventually have to break down and actually wash them. The hot water alone does most of the shrinking, and you can always toss 'em into the dryer, which helps.

Needless to say, this process isn't going to keep all the indigo perfect, which is something of the point.
>>
>>11230534
welcome to levis quality control
>>
>>11230872
True.dat

Levi's measurements are always ± whatever amount they feel like at the time with no consistency whatsoever.
>>
501s are objectively the best
>>
>>11230548
It does, people compliment me all the time. I don't lift but still exercise, I don't want my body to be shit when I'm older. And personally I don't like big muscles.
>>
520 never gets mentioned, but from the pic it looks most like 513, on me at least.
>>
I love the 501 but the rise is so short. I can't size up otherwise the waist would end at my hip. I tried 550 today thinking the rise would be better but it's just about the same despite the claim that they should sit at waist. I don't want to bother with levis anymore. I'm not fat at all, but fit from squatting and my waist is usually 29 or 30. It's almost impossible to find jeans that fit with a proper high rise.

I guess I should look into LVC.
>>
510s fit pretty loose on me, are 519s any good
>>
Lvc '47, '78, and '54. I have two pairs of each I've been wearing for the last 6 years or so.
>>
None, because their QC is fuckawful and none of their fits seem to look good on me.
>>
>>11230530
514 not bad.
>>
>>11230530
508 is the most comfy
511 is pretty close
>>
>>11230929

>>
>>11231426
I have 13mwz. Rise is great but has waist issue. 29 perfect but waist is at least 1 inch too big, going down to 28 I cannot even do the zipper up... Why is there such a huge difference in just one size?

I honestly believe 508's are the best jeans i have ever worn. It's a shame Levi's seems to be killing them off. I wore my olive greens ones till they ripped, they were GOAT. ;_;
>>
>>11230534
levi skinnies dropped off about two years ago, now they fit like your average slim fit with a little less ankle room
If you wnt good skinny jeans, either buy a better brand or get 519s
>>
510s and 511s exclusively.
>>
513
>>
>>11230530
I have a pair of black 510s. They're the jeans I wear the most but I wish they were medium rise instead of low rise. In that respect my /pale/ weekday friday fit jeans are my best fitting jeans

541, my man. Hits my navel and looks good with strong legs.
>>
I got some 501's but I'm thinking of getting them tapered, I think the Levis store near me does adjustments.
>>
How do you wear straight without being fat?
>>
541s even though they end up looking like skinnys on me

Levis 505's
>>
522's are great. Love the higher rise.
>>
>>11232988
Because skinny and tapered are only trends. Straight will always be classic.

Anyone know anything more about the Made and Crafted line?

I got a pair of these needle narrow ones and the cut is amazing, fabric is a little light and picks up dust but they're black jeans so what can I expect. Comfiest things ever
>>
I love my 510s. They're the older variant and they're sick af. I just find it hard to wear them without looking like a faggot because of how lightwashed they are. I either have to go full pale and look like I rock the cock or just a black tee and look like a normie loser.
>>
>>11232185
I'm also concerned, I'm pretty tempted to buy multiple pairs but I'm unsure if my weight will change or if the sizing will be consistent.
>>
>>11233041
505s aren't bootcut but those look great anyway
>>
>>11232988
tuck in your shirt
>>
>>11233089
I got the dark blue shuttle loom crafted ones. Amazing shit
>>
i liked the 508s, but the rise was a little low (i have a big ass), and it didn't taper enough below the knee

i wear the 522s now and they're perfect, would recommend at least going down to your local macys/kohls and trying on a pair
>>
501s. They fit great and I like mid-waisted pants.
>>
>>11234292
Yeah but I tried the 527s and they were way too baggy
>>
I stopped buying Levi's because no two pairs fit the same.
They started making their pants in shitholes in the middle east with zero quality control.
