I'm meh on the idea. The strap is actually sewn between the lining of the bid and the sleeves, which anchors it without putting excessive tension anywhere. If you sew a new strap in, you'll have to pinch the two pieces of lining together as you sew it. This creates an uneven distribution of tension, and will probably rip the lining of the jacket if you use the strap enough times.

Can't really speak to the other things, but I've almost never had a pair of shoes made of actual good quality leather that didn't show some level of grain variation - I've always just considered it a part of wearing another creature's skin. Yours does seem sorta noticeable now, but should be fine after a little breaking in.

I suspected the difference in leather wasn't a defect per se, it's just that it's so massively different, the tongues and the entire inner side panel are mismatched. I would have dealt with it if there weren't 2 other major flaws that I can see.

About to pull the trigger on some sock runners

If they are 44 and I'm a US size 11 is that the right size for me?

I looked for online conversions and apparently 44 is for us 10.5 and 11.
I'm worried about them being too loose if I don't get a 43.

Yeah, you would want 43 from what everyone usually says. They mess with the conversion on them so the sizing is really weird. But basically size down EU or go TTS UK

Alright so for my stuff:

Inseam 2"
Rise 25"
Outseam 27"

Prisoners (pic related)
Inseam 18"
Rise 20.5"
Outseam 38"

It's equivalent to about a 28-30" inseam depending on where on your waist you wear them

The rides are quite different between the two, even though they're both XS. I think it's because my pods are '14 and my prisoners are '15, and apparently they got a little shorter between those seasons. Also, I was able to shrink my jersey prisoners a little, but didn't do anything to the pods since they're Felpa.

They might go lower at the end of season, but then you're playing off against how much stock they have left so its a gamble.


I know NAHK(AWOL) copped some for dirty cheap, like filthy cheap somehow. But I would put that down to a bit of luck and not try and hold out for a price as low as he got, its unlikely.
