I'm 5'11 and have never had any issues with it. I dont wish I was any taller because it doesn't matter. I'm also 135lb, so rather thin, and I've had people think I was a lot taller.

Girlfriend is also only 5'2 and I've only ever dated 1 girl taller than me and even then it wasn't an issue.

5'9 isn't all that bad for me. my girlfriend is taller than me, which is a little weird. its not horrible though.

I prefer to be shorter than my girlfriend/boyfriend so it tends to be convenient in that regard
But on the other hand I have zero physical presence with strangers, I kinda wanted to go into law enforcement but I just think about me being so small and hilariously non threatening especially compared to my peers. Not to mention if i got super muscle-y Id just look like Im compensating for being a so short, and my proportions would look weird probably since I already have wide shoulders and torso for how short I am. I dont even want to be big I just wanna be in good shape.

Maybe an extra inch or so would be a nice middle ground. Id say Id really want it just for the body proportions thing. If my shoulders and torso weren't so wide Id probably be ok with my height

I'm in the 5'11 boat too. What bothers me the most I think, is the fact that I'm so dead on average, if go out to town, I will always see people taller than me and people shorter than me. Overall I'm rather content with my situation, but if someone offered me that extra inch, I wouldn't deny it.
