Dark dust and dust aren't the same but that tank is dark dust. Dust is a slightly more beige color, I've seen it mostly in leathers. That being said, dark dust varies from season to season. My SS '15 prisoners (what you have) look quite brown compared to my SS '14 tee, which looks very grey.

Dunno why I was iffy at first but the Creepers really grew on my. Guess I'm used to boots with a sleeker toebox, but these are great and work with lots of non rick fits. Now I wish I picked up the Basket Creepers instead of milk Ramones when I had the chance. The Ramones are bugging me because they only look good with pants tucked in and that's a hard look for me.

I'm looking to cop some pods for the summer and I'm unsure as to what kind I want and where I could even start to make my decision.

Currently I own:
2 double layers (bone and pearl CWs)
1 raw hem level tee (in black)
and some all black reverse leather ramones ( ;^D )

What would be your suggestions on pods? Currently I just wear jeans (julius, KKA, ILU) as bottoms with rick and want to switch it up.

I just happened to stumble upon this site and the current forum and have enjoyed everyone's comments. If possible, I would like to add something from the designer side of things...

I am a designer and colleague of Maurizio Altieri. We both showed our first Paris collections in the same place in 1993 along the banks of the Seine. We both have had many ups and downs in our careers. This business is like that.

He was showing Carpe Diem, although a very different concept than what it later became, and I was pioneering the crazy concept at the time, that an American designer could do avant-garde in Paris and actually make it, (Rick Owens, Jeremy Scott and quite a few others followed later).

Without going into details, we took off for awhile doing some of the world's earliest recycled designer work and grew a lot. But Maurizio suffered a lot during the next five years and made huge personal sacrifices before beginning his truly successful run with Carpe Diem. And I respect him as a friend and as one of the few real artists in the field, so I need to point out that he alone was the pioneer and creator of the look that so many have been imitating and copying in the past 4 years. Period.

However, he never mentioned or blamed Amadei. Indeed he was a partner of Altieri and indeed he was a leathermaker, so he followed his direction of artisanal design and production but almost all designes he used in his own collections are his own and aren't stolen from Altieri.

However, Altieri indeed has created everything and everyone. The only designer in artisanal direction who evolved separately is Poell.

No one used the word stolen. Altieri let Amadei take some of the binders of Carpe Diem patterns when he had a meltdown and ended the label. A lot of early m.a+ stuff is linea and sartoria patterns. Obviously 10 years down the line with 50+ people working under m.a+ name what you see at L'Eclaireur will be not be obviously wholesale Carpe patterns.
