Front: phone, keys, wallet (most of the time it's either in my jacket in a pocket, or in my backpack.) important things like receipts (temporarily), and maybe coins

i tuck my glock 19 in my waistband and carry newports in my front left.
I occasionally carry a disposable phone in my right pocket for business.

I wear high waisted pants, so when I sit down my back pockets don't go underneath my buttocks. Phone and wallet secure and no fear of injury. Try again

I used to carry a knife I thought was cool, I stopped after I realised I had absolutely no use for it. I work on a dock (no I'm not gay) and never got a chance to use it. I rarely get a chance to use it out hiking either; unless you're in a pipe band or a boy scout I don't think you have any reason for carrying a knife.

The wild, or bad parts of town. Mainly there are a lot of homeless heroin addicts sleeping in the wilderness and they are much easier to intimidate with a knife.
