I got mine from Oki-no.com, but was trying on a couple of other sites too. Just pay attention to where it's being stocked and keep your wits about you. I intended my go to shop to be end.com but their online sale was a total joke and either their servers couldn't handle it or they'd already given them out through backdoor links. Leather soles are not practical in cities that have winters. Too slippery.

That being said, high quality leather shoes/boots do exist with rubber/dainite soles as well. They just tend to cost at least $350 and upwards (the bare minimum usually).

They are often made in the UK, so no third world sweatshop labor.
