I really dislike the Raf Simons collabs for this reason. Whenever I see someone wearing them all I can think is "oh, I suppose you wanted to be special". Adding like 100 dollars to the pricetag for almost the exact same shoe is ridiculous to me, there was no effort on Raf's part here.

Adidas tries to revitalize their line of shoes every few years; it's all just a marketing ploy, man
soon they'll bring back Sambas and all of your favorite nordic/canadian/japanese (ie no blacks, pharrell) designers will be asked to design shoes
