Wondering if there are some good /fa related posts for woman inspo?
Depends what you want t b h, most people here will post what they want their girlfriends to wear but then will eventually get shit on from like the same 2 faggots that post super high end fashion. What are you looking for? Stuff similar to your pic, or just anything?
I'll dump a few things I have saved
hope i'm not just posting my imaginary gf, but i'll contribute
Sometimes I wish I was a girl so I could wear weird shit like this.

Unfortunately I find that the same images get reused over and over, /fa/ isn't good for female fashion discussion chat.
For something different, this image really got me thinking about how the dress could be modernized. Something about it kind of puts me in the space where I think I could see how this would be very fresh and modern from a 1910's context. It just seems like it could be a really nice fall outfit with the right accessories.
I find this image interesting as a possible look for upcoming makeup trends. It pains me to say it as I love cats-eye eyeliner but I think its approaching the point where it will be considered dated. Its a few years out from that point but the fashion conscious might be going for softer looks without such a dramatic cat-flick, maybe even no eyeliner at all and sheerer lip finishes than the past couple of year's emphasis on matte.
wtf no tay-tay pics or Kanoco pics yet

I spine ripped and scanned two current women's magazines from my collection and the pictures have never been reposted. It's not for a lack of trying; there's just very little interest on this board
>>10934873
You need to start buying Biteki. They cover emerging makeup trends and it always comes with awesome samples/swag
>>10934877
By the way I'm saving up for a large format scanner and will continue to scan my growing collection of women's magazines, milspec / ivy / American traditional magazines whenever I get it
The pictures were cutting off and it drove me crazy
>>10934877
its a shame, there really aren't that many places for good discussion of women's fashion. Tumblr isn't conversation and /r/femalefashionadvice doesn't have a broad scope of interest. The biggest women's fashion forums have far less activity and the demographic hasn't had many young people joining so whats left is oriented above my age group.

thanks for the tip anon
Anyway pic related, for shoulders. There are lots of casual slouchy, off-shoulder sweaters for purchase but not nearly as many blouses and shoulders designed to showcase the shoulders.

Anyway anyone wanna talk hats? The evergreen ubiquity of baseball caps and beanies aside hats don't really make much splash in the fashion scene. But hell if I haven't seen this hat everywhere (probably originally boisted by way of AHS: Coven), Beyonce wearing an exaggerated version of it made for a very striking image in her m/v for Formation and may give it further boost. There's probably a lot of fashion you could discuss from both Formation and her Superbowl performance but I really just want to talk about hats.

woops dropped the image
>>10934942
I can't see them blowing up
Wearing something like that just screams "I take my fashion cues from whatever is trending on Twitter"
>>10934950
Really? I've been seeing them a fair bit and even before the video dropped, I was kind of hoping there was an aesthetic convergence happening irt hats.
I've been digging on 20s fashion lately. People are already keen on 20s inspired nightwear and Art Deco detailing on evening gowns but I can see designers trying to introduce the day-fashions of the 1920s into a modern context. Higher hemlines, a bit more form fitting than 20s fashions may have factually been, and ditching drop-waist may be a way of modernizing the look.
I've seen a lot of images from the 1920s where everyone and everything just looks frumpy but I've also seen images that looked chic and surprisingly modern, especially the fall/autumn fashions
Femcuckcore is the best.

There was a rumor that flapper would come back
But I'm hoping tomboy and 90s style get big again. Loved those looks
>>10935001
isn't 90s fashion in full swing?
>>10935020
I see no evidence of it where I live
Athleisure is getting comically bad and kids basically follow whatever urban outfitters and H&M release
>>10935029
I'm in LA, maybe that's why.
Anyway mybe a 20's style tomboy aesthetic might be up your alley.

sorry I don't have any of that in my personal inspo folders, but you might have much better luck at pinterest. I'm not saying that in like a derogatory or condescending way, but i know that Pinterest (maybe tumblr) has a shit ton of boho inspo for sure!
Is there any explanation, why everyone on fa just repost the same shitty pics of boring tumblerinas dressed in full hm and zara shit? yeah, this grils look good, because they got nice face. What all. Their fits are shit.
>>10936765
idk, post good fits then?
I want to achieve her aesthetics.
>>10935048
I'm not them but 20s tomboy aesthetic is exactly up my alley, if you have any more like that I'd really appreciate it.

90s fashion is still in full swing where I live. I think it's got 2016 left. In 2017 fashion will probably get sick of it by then.

>>10937376
Sure thing anon.
This is from about the 1910s, check the girl on the left. Note the soft material of the pants, that ain't denim; I wager that non-denim pants will be key to the look you're trying to accomplish. The shirt has been made casual with its rolled up sleeves and baggy effect (despite the tie).
>>10938373
This is from probably the 1900s up to the early 1920s, the women are probably actresses who've donned 'breeches roles' for the stage. There's a wide variety of hats that you might find interesting.
>>10938379
1910s workwear
>>10938394
I think this one s very cute, as if Clara Bow had taken on Chaplin's Tramp role.
>>10938398
Women did wear pants in the 1920s but generally in the context of athletic wear. It burns me whenever a fashion history textbook states that women started wearing pants in the 40s when they actually started wearing them in the late Victorian era, just that for decades they were relegated to sports clothing.
So if you'd really like to keep looking you should look up sporting pictures specifically.
Note the jodhpurs and tucked in breeches.

Very interesting posts.
I've never known much about 20's fashion, I assumed it was all about the flappers.
