Kering would be dumb not to continue stocking the permanent collection so it probably wouldn't change much of what I would actually buy. Plus it won't stop the millions of other brands cashing in on the aesthetic, so I'm not too worried about the SLP look as a whole, I guess.

I heard Anthony Vaccarello might be in the running. I'm not too familiar with his work but it seems like it's glam and sleazy enough to work with Hedi's SLP aesthetic and actually push it somewhere new

For slp, Instagram isn't too good of an idea for inspo. If you look at the slp tag you'll see tryhard Asians wearing full on slp looking like shit. Or trust fund kids in full on slp looking like shit. Occasionally someone pulls it off, but they're normally wearing one or two pieces at most.

Tl;dr

The key to pulling the look off is being skinny, and downplaying everything else in your outfit if you're wearing one of the louder pieces. Wearing full slp is akin to cosplay unless you are attractive and thin enough.

The boots and shoes are great and I recommend those, and the shirts and stuff are just "okay". You can thrift better or cop something on sale. Or buy replicas. Who fucking cares at this point

How funny would it be if SLP made him an offer he couldn't refuse. He would be forced to wear pieces that he would absolutely hate. I actually think it's a good thing.
I love Hedi, but he hasn't made much progress in the last few years, SLP has been nothing but rehashes of previous collections.

I think Hedi could be more creative under a different Label and I think SLP could use a new designer so it would be win win.
I'd probably keep buying SLP and might start buying whatever Label Hedi goes to if I still like his style.

I basically have a "grown out" hy haircut, so short on the sides and by now actually pretty long at the top.
I slick it back or bring it up, combining SLP with Greaser aesthetic because it's pretty close to each other.
