I can't slick my hair back. When I got this haircut it looked great because the barber styled it but I can't achieve shit by myself. I have a very similar cut so I'll let you know what works for me. I shower at night, and tie it back in a bun while I sleep. By the morning it's more inclined to sit like you'd want it. More importantly though, a little natural oil buildup is what makes the cut look good. You'll have to push it into place when it falls, but it's great bedhead. You wouldn't want it to be crunchy anyway.

So, my hair is brown but my eyebrows are completely blonde, making them almost invisible against my pasty white skin. Blow drying is 80% of the hairstyle. Put some pre-styler in your damp hair before you blow dry it. You could use some mousse if you want volume. Take your time and try to blow dry it in the direction that you want it to go. You could try holding your hair up for a few seconds and then let it fall when blow drying for more volume. When you finish, apply some product. Be sure to spread it evenly in your hands and to cover the roots of your hair, not just the top. If you want that nazi slicked back look, apply pomade, it will hold well but it will be shiny and sticky. You could use some matt paste or clay if you want a natural look. Once you do that let the product rest for atleast 10-15 minutes. Then make some final touches with blow dryer or more product. Be carefull not to put too much though, your hair will become too heavy and fall down. Das it mane, good luck.

My dad still has a head full of hair at 50 but all his brothers have receding hairlines so maybe I'm fucked, but then again I also might have thyroids because I have all the symptoms and my mom has it too, also my brother passed away last year, I've heard shit like that can cause hairloss too. The best haircut I've ever gotten was £6, my most expensive was ~£20 but I was thinking of treating myself to one of the ~£40 Toni and Guy salons since I've got some money in. Is it actually worth it or are they just counting on the price drawing in pathetic losers [spoiler]like me[/spoiler]?

if youre gonna cut it any visible length, I think shoulder height would look alright, since its kind of your cut-off between wavy hair and curly hair.

Leave in conditioners don't do shit. Get sweet almond oil (you can get a decent sized bottle at Target in the natural beauty section) put that shit in your hair and cover with like a plastic bag or shower cap and leave it on for as long as possible. Do that once a week, then every 2 weeks do an apple cider vinegar rinse to clear the gunk off your scalp. Try not to use heat ever and drink a shit load of water. My hair grew 2 inches in a month of just doing this, once you get it long enough cut the damage and there you go.

Looks like you might just need to tame the frizz, maybe trim some in that one tufty area. For curly hair all you need is to moisturize like fuck (find a good washout and leave-in conditioner) and some hair gel to keep them in curl form. Don't be afraid to try women's hair products.

Just let it grow, and depending how curly or wavy your hair is you may want to get a slight (SLIGHT) undershave every few months. My sideburns and the edges of my hairline on the back of my head grows like uncontrollable weeds so I just shaved it off. I tried using a hair straighter to no avail. Once that shit was gone the rest of my hair was able to relax in the direction I wanted it to go.

It looks like shit and kiddie I think until you get the sides past your chin and then it goes into the cute goth/emo hair phase.
I have a round face though and that style softens my face even more.
I think it would look weird since you have such a strong manly jaw with contrasting softness.
You look young and having it short in the first picture makes you look mature and masculine.
I think pulling it a bit tighter even if you keep some long parts would look better?
