Are trousers the best fashion trend for spring? Post comfy trousers, inspo and discuss trousers.
No jeans allowed.
>>
yes trousers are best, jeans are for plebs, do you even see trump wearing jeans, no, that's because he not a communist
>>
>>10902802
sans the sarcasm I agree
>>
>Trousers are to formal and out of place
>out of place
So the fucking furry/ edgy kids get a pass. I hate this flyover state

Flannel trousers are probably the most comfortable pants ever.

PT01 and Incotex have a great fit.
>>
>>10903290
Are you triggered since you're not unique and cool anymore?
Honestly the only wool trousers that look sick are cdg/yohji style wide legged cropped ones.
>>
>>10903300
What the fuck are you on about? People have been wearing trousers, wool at that, for 100+ years. Not a trend.
And dozens of brands produce good wool trousers get the fuck out of here.
>>
>>10903313
That's literally like saying white shoes aren't a trend because they have been made for decades.
>>
>>10903324
Well, that is also true. Are fucking suits a trend, now?
>>
>>10903330
No, but "wearing le wool trousers instead of jeans xDDddd" is.
>>
>>10903337
That current of thought barely exists outside of this board. Wool trousers are a perfectly fine alternative to jeans, just without sneakers.
>>
>>10903343
Well it's true that it hasn't really entered the mainstream yet but it has surely been a trend on all the significant fashion forums for like 2 years already.
>>
w2c nice flannel trousers?

I love my chinos from Scotch and Soda. The fit great even though I have baby legs. Going to buy a pair dress pants from then as well. Have two pairs of tweed slim fit trousers from Asos. I love them though I had to shrink then to get the perfect fit. Good buy though.

So are bomber jackets and they're still a trend at the moment. Do you people not know what a trend means?

Jeans have been plebtier for quite a while. People like Jobs and Suckerburg used them on stage to appeal to plebs.
Actual, real people have moved on to trousers already in 2007 or so, just before the financial meltdown.

I have jeans only in my closet, they are cheap and relatively durable.
Honestly, I'm tired of it, I have been wearing nothing but blue jeans ever since I was 12.

The only obstacle I'm having is that I can't stand standing out, everyone wears jeans around me and I wouldn't even know where to get proper trousers and preferably without ending up broke.

I'm a jeans wearer and pretty pleb when it comes to fashion but have long thought about wearing trousers instead.
My main barrier is thay aren't they a bit formal for day-to-day wear? Is there a specific way to wear them in such a way that I don't look like a moustache twirler?
>>
>>10906421
I wear exact same shirt as trump right now:)

Sorry for asking like a tard
>>
>>10910879
Thanks! Appreciate it.
Oh diff question:
What if you're broke atm and can't really buy as much clothes as you used to; and you're stuck with what you have
Is it possible to be frugal and fa?
>>
>>10910922
>10 pants at once
Hahaha true that. I usually buy another pair if the one im using is really worn out, but other than that I try to save muh monies.

Thanks for the advice again
>>

w2c wool trousers like this
>>
>>10910922
Looking at pants... I have black and grey Acne Ace cash, dark grey and black ripped skinny jeans from Cheap Monday and lightwash LEvi's jeans. Honestly, one doesn't need more. I would cop some wool trousers later.
>>
>>10910966
specifically that thicker, textured fabric. all I get with google is fucking suit pants
>>
>>10910987
look for tweed pants, flannel pants - anything over 13oz weight should be good, but here's an 11oz for now

why are flannels so hard to buy fuck
>>

because they were disgraced by normies and fell into either old man clothing or fuck expensive designer category
>>
>>10912090
are there any cheap options at all

like shit I'd settle for old man pants that could be brought in to fit better if it meant not spending $300
>>
>>10907710
Jeans can actually look pretty good and compliment a style if they're worn properly, which is the hard part. Not just the casual un-hip-dad wear, that's horrible

>>10911105
Fyi, doesn't have to be expensive. Just make sure you get a pair in the right waist size and materials and get it tailored as desired. Obv wool =/= wool, but at around €80 you should be able to gind decent pants. I reslly recommend going to the actual store to feel the fabric though.

You can also ask him... he usually responds within 24 hours.

Guys, this may take a little more time, but generally this is easier than finding the right pair of jeans, because once you're settled, the desired fit is guarenteed.
>>
>>10912386
ask him what

m8 pls be more clear

also again if anyone knows of pants that are that nice thick "flecked" looking grey flannel I could really use some help. All I can find is the super expensive shit and goddamn suitpants; just need some that are the right material, I'll get them tailored for fit.

>>
>>10915506
i know how to sew, but ive never tried to make clothes from bolts of cloth, and ive never altered my clothes. ive mostly just done patches. i plan to make something over the summer though.

but yes. you should know how to mend your own clothes. you should be able to sew on patches, and buttons at the very least. and that will give you a base with which to learn how to make clothes. i mean, hemming isnt hard, thats why its so cheap. if i didnt have family members that could alter my clothes for me id have learned ages ago. that and i dont want to fuck with a sewing machine
