I like my ESEE 6 but many knives would do better. A dagger's only real purpose is stabbing. You should look for a knife with a flat spine, straight edge (no separations), 1095 carbon steel or similar, removable scales (so you can find some that fit your hand), and a full tang. Check out Mora I guess.
