don't use pomade if you're going for the style you're going for in your picture. use a light wax. in your case, since your hair is naturally curly, american crew is a good choice since it's easier to find. better choices and slightly more expensive and harder to find are imperial products and hanz de fuko. blow dry and run a comb through your hair in the direction you want it to go. apply product after, but remember that less is more. with your hair you should be using less than a dime size.
