opinions on stan smiths?

They're a meme shoe but depending on where you live you can get away with them. I've only ever seen 1 other person with them in Orlando so I have no problems wearing
Less versatile, less iconic Superstars
Only reason people buy Stans is because the Superstar II was retired and the new ones have gaudy gold everywhere instead of just monotone white and black

They have the ugliest toebox ever put on a sneaker.

The shelltoe looks and feels great.

Superstars are shit . Sambas are superior

Superstars are ugly as sin unless they are worn in a small size
live in a pretty unfashionable place so i can pull em off for daily use
the only other person i saw wearing them was an asian teenager

Love em. Had a diff version when I was maybe 13 and once I "rediscovered" them, I fell in love with em.
Was looking for a somewhat low profile white sneaker I could basically just trash. Been wearing them to pretty heavy parties/festivals and they held up surprisingly well. They also work with wool pants.
People will probably call them a meme shoe, what they possibly are, but I don't really care about that. I actually even kinda like how it's a trendy shoe.

Seen a few people on campus wearing them, mainly international students. I think they're great budget sneakers.

Red rust easily . I like the floral ones as well
opinions
I see none in my hometown(aside my brother)
In my uni city I maybe see them once a day.
They are a meme on the internet but not in real life, so I suggest buying them.

agreed. i have no idea why people hate it so much, i mean it looks pretty good to me...

green, navy or all white
I get a lot of compliments on my stans at work because nobody where I live wears them

Generation gap
Remember that a lot of people posting on /fa/ are literal teenagers
