What are your go to jeans? Looking for suggestions

>current favorites are Lucky 221 original straight
>>
>>10748221
I usually get nudie grim tims. I just wait till they go on sale or wait till I get a coupon for nordstrom or something
>>
>>10748221
I like those as well, not too baggy, not too skinny. A cheaper option are the Lee Modern fit straight L342. Similar fit to the 221s, and look good also. Not the typical Lee dad jean, sort of like Levis 505s.
>>
>>10748226
Those look nice man, thanks.
>>
wrangler 13mwz
>>
How long do you guys go with the legs, as in I'm usually a 32 inseam (I'm 6'1") but I've found that the cuffs drag and look shitty so I've gone for a 30 now with straight leg jeans. I hate having jeans that drag on the fucking ground, This shit varies so much between brands. Ever have them tailored?
>>
>>10748244
Really?

On BD I'm a True Religion Fein to the death

Can we all attribute True Religion's popularity to Chief Keef's heavy hip-hop influence?
>>
>>10748268
yes?
>>
>>10748280
Seriously?
True Religion was played out when I was in high school in like 03, dude. They were going for 15 bucks a pair on eBay
>>
>>10748260
I'm almost 6'2" and have long legs so I usually go for a 34 length, my jeans aren't straight, they're slim, so they don't look bad with cuffs. I think if I got a straight pair I would get a 32.
>>
>>10748268
You would honestly be surprised about what people wear on /fa/, not in a bad way though. I'm trying to say not everyone on here wears APC or Acne jeans.
>>
>>10748314
lolol dude what the fuck are you talking about
just because your local upscale boutique stocks those basic bitch brands doesn't mean anybody on /fa/ wears them
most people wear Uniqlo because they can't afford 300 dollar Japanese raws, which is what they all want to wear
>>
>>10748221
Just stay away from mall shit like hollister or AE, it's overpriced crap that don't last.
>>
>>10748292
What's the rise like on those?
>>
>>10748336

>>
I wear the 361 vintage straight
>>

That's honestly what I'm saying.

levis 510 but i've been wanting to get a better pair
looking for something that uses flat fell seams instead of overlocked seams, and i want it to be stretch denim with a small leg opening w2c?
>>
>>10748477
>stretch denim
why
>>
>>10748481
i wear skinny jeans and i want a smaller leg opening than the width the on 510s
but also
comfy
>>
>>10748484
Sounds like jeggings.
>>
Naked & Famous "Skinny Guy"

Raw denim, don't wash 'em for the first 6 months!
>>
>>10748491
huge difference between jeggings and stretch denim
510s already have 2% lycra, but my latest pair are not comfy to wear
>>
>>10748518
So jeggings then.
>>
>>10748501
These are hardly "skinny" at all
>>
>>10748560
i don't want something that's 56% cotton, 40% viscose, and 4% spandex
>>
>>10748322
What...? Normal people wear wranglers or 501s. Kill urself my man.
>>
>>10748221
Don't ever buy old navy jeans. They may fit well and look nice when you buy them, but the stretch out and look like shit in a few months. You can wash them on high heat and the shit won't shrink back to normal. I bought some slim straight jeans there once, they turned into stretched out relaxed fit after a couple of months. You get what you pay for, and they are shit.
>>
Any like 7 for all mankind?
>>
At the moment it's some UB101's. Just ordered some APC pns's so im excited about those coming in.

Anyone got any tips for a fit guy?

My measurements are like 32x32, but most straight fit jeans don't fit past my quads. I like Levis 514, but I don't know where I should increase the size. Do I buy longer legs (I pinroll or cuff all my jeans anyway, so length isn't that big of a deal), or do I buy bigger waist?

Right now I have a pair of 569s, and they fit perfectly in the waist/quad area, but are definitely baggy around the lower legs.

Pic related
>inb4 stop lifting
>>
>>10749779
waist fit is more important than length fit
one you can fix with hemming or cuffing
the other you can try to mitigate with belts, but it isn't a good idea
>>
>>10749779
I'm also 32x32 but for most jeans I have to go up to 34 waist and they still don't fit in the thigh.

I got a ton of Levi 541 34x32 and they're pretty much perfect in the thigh area and they slim down at the calf. Probably could have gotten 32x32 but I didn't want to take any chances so I just always wear a belt.

I'm still getting a couple pairs tailored so they slim down more but I'd still say the 541's are a decent start.
>>
Tbh Levi Shrink To Fit 501s aren't bad. I've had a pair for a while now and they're honestly a good set of Raw Denim jeans for $30-$60
>>
>>10749779
Check out Lucky 221 straight fit like OP mentioned.
>>
>>10748280
True religion = nigger, Rock Revival = white trash.

I've never seen Wrangler mentioned on /fa/ in the time I've been here
even Wrangler Japan

i like what i've been seeing with the relaunch of the brand

Schott X lucky motto

http://www.luckybrand.com/schott-x-lucky-matte-moto/YLB626.html?dwvar_YLB626_color=001&cgid=mens&start=2&dwvar_YLB626_dimension=*N

the exclusive to lucky brand Indian Motorcycle gear

and more MAde In USA Jeans from Japense selvedge at a dirt cheap price point

however the design is still over the top and very cheap/costume looking.

if they took a schott moto and removed some of the over the top detailing and made it wearable and toned back some of the Indian branding and stopped distressing the jeans they would have a decent budget brand

>>

Oni has some of the skinnier fits for Japanese brands and by far my favorite fabric. I believe Somet's cuts are based off of Dior cuts. Momotaro I think has the "skinniest" fit but for the most part Japanese cuts are heritage (based off Levis 501 and the like) fits.
>>
>>10751673
>>10751999
I guess I'll clarify. The skinniest Oni fit is the 506Z and the skinniest Momo fit is the 0702. Both are called "tight straight" but according to Denimio they are significantly skinnier than any of their fits with the word skinny or slim in them. I personally have a pair of Onis in their secret denim and it is the most divine fabric ever made. I made it through the brutal east coast summer working outside in them every day despite them being 20 oz. They honestly feel like thick flannel after you have broken them in and do not get as hot as any of my other pairs all around 14 oz. Oni fabric is some black magic shit.
>>
>>10748280

On BD true religion was huge in hip hop culture long before Keef. Keef dresses like your average 16 y/o stunter in high school.
>>
>>10751597
Vakill is literally going to end the whole drill scene in one line on his new album, whenever the fuck that comes out
>>
>>10752033
I'll take a look at both Oni and Momotaro. Thanks breh.
>>
>>10752033
I have 527zr as well and can confirm, apparently they have a larger weave(?) so are more breathable
>>
which apc fit is most like levis 511?
>>
>>10752819
No problem. There used to be daily threads about Japanese denim and quality menswear before the hypebeast fuccbois and Dick Ovens memes took over. I stopped coming here around that time but still pop in occasionally to help people that care about non meme clothes since it's kind of a forgotten art.
>>
>>10755339
Fªm Americana heritage mildblend x oak street bootmakers 20oz indigo dyed Japanese denim is a meme
>>
old navy
>>
>>10756879
Old Navy if you want jeans that stretch out and look like shit in a month. Made that mistake once, never again.
>>
>>10757029
> he bought the stretchy "built in flex" jeans
>>
>>10757029
they wont stretch if you buy them the right size. if they are too small they have to stretch or rip
>>
>>10757029
Uhhh old navy jeans look shit from day 1. But they're pretty much free
>>
>>10749779
Get your pants tailored. A taper at my local place costs $8, so worth it.
