depends what you're going for. Clothing, I recommend Adidas but I'm on their hype train anyways so it's biased. Shoes, it seems like Nike has the better shoes, but their prices for the good ones are much higher and Adidas has more recognizable/easy-to-pull staples such as the Campus or Gazelle or Superstar, all of which look decent at least.

Adidas personally, can't stand nike branding. Generally adidas seems more aesthetically pleasing, but the cheaper models are shit quality.

Nike really only has a few gems as far as aesthetically, and most of them seem to be pre-1998. I'll give them quality and comfort for the price though.

adidas is a lot better in my opinion.
the collabs (yohji, raf, rick, neighborhood, bape x undefeated, etc.) are enough to put nike in their grave fashionwise.
the superstars and stan smiths are iconic.

nike doesnt have a ton to offer in my opinion other than the jordans and roshes (which imo suck ass)
