I like Battenwear. Most of the pieces for SS are inspired by Hawaiian surfing culture and there are also some pieces that are more for outdoor wear. It's great quality, but a little bit more on the expensive side. Nice outerwear fow FW.

Sigh. There's a couple things you can do. First, wait until the season ends so like fall/winter to spring/summer. Most stores want to get rid of their shit so they sell it cheap. Second, wait for sample sales if you live close to a city. Everything's cheap and you can get some good clothes. Third, you can go on grailed and get clothing secondhand at a cheaper price. Finally, there are Japanese sites like Rakuten where really expensive brands are somewhat cheaper than what you would usually pay. You get a deal cuz the Japanese take amazing care of their clothes. The only thing with that is you have to use a proxy service and then wait for shipping.

Most of his mainline stuff is difficult to style without going full goofninja. The diffusion line fits better in a street/tech wardrobe.
The quality used to be exceptional but has dropped noticeably in the past few years as the prices have risen.
Basically his designs are still pretty great, but not worth anything close to the retail prices.

It's not edgy enough for /fa/ but I think Issey Miyake Men is really good at the moment. It combines casual menswear with 'unsafe' colours and large prints to create abnormal clothing that still looks nice.
