Yes. Feminism (not to be confused tumblr feminism) is very accepted in sweden, many politicians (including our current prime minister) call themselves feminist. Not that we don't have the tumblr feminists, it's just that other people (both left and right wing actually) use the word. I think these pieces are pretty genius, they can be interpreted in so many different ways, all of which promote controversy and publicity. You can think of them as feminist clothing for a radically feminist mens market, you can think of them as ironic satire, poking fun at 4th the gaudiness of 4th wave feminism, or you could think of them as cashing in on trendy tumblr gender issues. I almost bought one of these because, as sweaters go, they are pretty aesthetically pleasing, but I decided not to as I didn't want to tell anyone who complemented me on it that I was wearing a gender equality shirt ironically. Because that would be controversial, which is all Acne is trying to do with these, in my opinion they are a total controversy piece about an issue that Acne has no stance on.
