Question for all those that quit dairy:

When quitting, did you initially notice an INCREASE in acne?

I recently quit all dairy products like a week ago and appear to have more acne. I thought it could be something to do with the body adjusting to the sudden change in, or lack of, milk hormones? idk
>>
>>10716288
Yup it'll take a while for your body to get to its optimal state after giving up dairy.. considering you've consumed it since birth? It's been over a year for myself and shit is so worth it.

What's a good treatment for cystic acne scars?
Most of mine are raised but a lot of them are slightly depressed, large, and shallow.
From what I've read dermarolling doesn't seem too good for these type of scars.

My acne just isn't going away and it makes me look like a fucking teenager

tried BB cream and my pores are still terrible.
Is there any way to really get rid of them without makeup?
>>
Any advice on shampoos? I've been using Head and shoulders for dandruff but I can't tell what effect there is on my acne.
>>
95% acne free now. Posted a few times but for those of you who have not read how:

Morning:
-Cleanse (Cerave Foaming Facial Cleanser)
-Exfoliate (Stridex Maximum Strength Pads)
-Moisturize (Cetaphil Lotion)
-Sunscreen

Night:
-Cleanse
-Apply Acne.org 2.5% Benzoyl Peroxide.

Personally, I dont like using moisturizer at night. It seems that drying my skin out at night helos clear spots and then moisturizing during the day keeps my skin from peeling/cracking.

Other things I do:
-Drink plenty of water
-Change pillow case every day (Sometimes every other day)
-Change sheets every 5-7 days
-Avoid touching my face
-Face masks every so often (Not on a routine for this. Usually do it twice a month)
-Cleanse my razor with alcohol before AND after use.

As for diet, I have not noticed an increase in acne based on what I eat. I can drink coffee loaded with sugar and milk, have a bowl of cereal and a glass of milk and eat candy and it doesn't get worse.

Keeping my regiment consistent has been the most important factor.

What does it look like without the cream? There could be sebum clogged inside.

>>10716816
haha yea

i remember my initial reaction of OH SHIT *hands raise up in the air*

I went on accutane twice for shit tier cystic acne
Each time it would come back worse than before, I was scared as fuck for doing a third round so I tried the no dairy thing.
Literally have not had a spot since.
If youre thinking of going on accutane try everything first, no reason to waste your time with that shit.

I quiet dairy almost a year ago but I still get acne :((

I'd say I don't break out as much(especially on lower part of the face) but I constantly have these things on my forehead.

They're not regular pimples, you can't really pop them, there's like a lot of them but very small red bumps.

There's almost nothing to pop but they won't go away.
I'm washing my face with anti-bacterial soap and some kind of moisturizer that goes with it and it makes almost no difference.

Also my forehead gets oily quickly even though I wash it with this thing that dries it out good.

Any tips?

try squeezing lemons on the areas and then letting it soak in in the sun
>>
>>10719451

How bad was it when you started and how long has it been?
>>
>>10720108
Your face gets oily fast because you wash it too often. Try 2 times a day
>>
Had horrendous acne since I was 8, has anyone tried the acne.org regimen. Shits expensive, but looks good.

please,

does anyone here know anything about / have Keratosis Pilaris Rubra Faceii

its a condition that causes you to have a red face 24/7, plus these tiny rough bumps that never go away.

I have seen 2 derms, removed all SLS/SLES from my routine, used all the 'holy grail' products (paulas choice, ciracle, cosRX) and nothing has worked.

2% salicylic acid helps soften the bumps but even this has little to no effect

This is literally driving me mad, everything i try doesnt work. I take fish oil, vit c, vit d, zinc, have tried prosacea, etc etc,

does anyone here know anything that could help.

pic shows exactly what i look like 24/7

If you're insistent on wearing makeup wear a primer underneath. Some time BB creams can highlight dimpled surfaces depending on their finish.

I'm not certain but look into Dermarolling/microneedling.
>>
>>10722553
tried this?

Can someone help me?
My face is oily literally after one hour after i take a shower or when i just wash it.
Using/not using moisturizers also makes my face oily as fuck.
>>
>>10722553
I have Keratosis Pilaris but not with Rubra Faceii. I only get the bumps.
I'm not sure if this'll help you but it helped me with my KP, basically just heavily moisturize during the evening and use a very light moisturizing sunblock in the morning it helps reduce the rough bumps from appearing.
To remove current bumbs use a loofah and scrub it out of your skin, i prefer to use rough loofahs but to each his own.
Unfortunately, KP doesn't go away even after doing this routine it only disappears after you reach a certain age usual 30+.
I also read somewhere that KP is a sign of gluten intolerance so you might want to switch up your diet too.
>>
>>10719451
Why don't you just flip your pillow over .boom, you can wash it every second day now
>>
How much cetaphil do I put on? It always makes my face look shiny.
And, is Rosehip oil good or useless?
>>
>>10722918
I use rosehip oil on scars.
I find it much too oily to just put on my face though
>>
>>10721304
I don't think that's it, I usually wash it once a day, sometimes two.
Never more than that
