Its about DENSITY(how much hair you have) and THICKNESS(of your hair strand).

It doesnt mean u will go bald sooner if u have "fine"(thin) hair than dude with thick ass shit. If u have thickest fucking bush helmet on your head, doesn't mean u are safe.
