The only thing that stands out on this white tie ensemble are the breeches. If he were to switch to pants, no one would pay attention. The tail coat is a little fastidious, but should barely garner a mention.

Frankly, do whatever the fuck you want to do at your wedding. Most weddings are gratuitous self-masturbation that you make other people sit through, so the outfit will only be a small part of the image.

(That said, as nicely as that is tailored, you don't look the part at all)

Honestly, go for it. I'd rather you go for pants instead of the knee breeches so you look more elegant, but if you are really set on alternative court dress, I wish you the best.

Pretty sure that you'd need a tailcoat with a longer line, though - that high-waisted 1930sish number is really at odds with the breeches in your post. Consider the more squared-off fronts on tailcoats of the late 1800s, or get one that buttons across like pic related.
