No. Emo fad died with MySpace. Scene peaked soon after and died out a few years later.

I'd say the scene years were 06 to 09. 04 To 05 was proto emo.

Anytime there is generational shift, there is always a few stranglers for a few years after.

It really goes with the music, pre 06 was like emo/rock while the 06-09 years were the post-hardcore years.
