You're only getting hate because you'll look like a well adjusted adult, just do it if you feel comfortable wearing it. Generally, if you think you look good and not try to force a style, you'll come off as more confident.

Jeans look bad to be honest. Glasses are good but I wouldn't wear them with the hat at the same time or you'll look like an isolated hipster. The color pallet is pretty good tho.

Palladiums are pretty meme but irl it shouldn't matter.

I'd maybe think about doing something more interesting with the top or even just swapping the color of the bomber to olive or something. If you're really set on navy for the bomber then maybe you could try olive, tan, or even black pants. I just don't really like the stonewash denim in this fit. Besides that I like the choices you made stylistically :)

He means that it looks like something that a young person would wear but since you're 17 I don't really know if you care that much. In my opinion the shirt is the best part of the fit. I would definitely suggest getting a different pair of pants. You can keep the beanie if you want since you're in high school. Anything past changing the pants sort of changes your personal style drastically so I don't know if you were open to suggestions on those.

When I tried them on, they felt really comfortable and as if they fit well.. Can you elaborate on why they aren't a good fit?
