Hey /fa/,

I'm in search of some pointed, more androgynous/feminine men's boots. I'm 5'10 and pretty skinny, so I have a hard time pulling off clunky/heavy boots.

The only boots I found that I really liked were from SLP's current collection, and Zanotti's collection a long time back. They're quite expensive though, so I'm looking for a more affordable pair of boots in that style.

Dumping pictures of boots I like: beneath

These are quite close to my current everyday shoes, but suede won't hold up for the winter.

Alucard-core

I like the ones with the buckle better.

Fair, the ones with the buckle look a little nicer, and the heel is shorter, too. I think the heel in the first picture was 3.3", which is probably pretty hard to pull off.

In this picture: more Zanotti

Here's the Zanotti model from above in brown suede. These were on sale for $650. I greatly regret not buying these.

Ok, I think I'm momentarily out of boot pics. I don't like chelseas.

Here's some watch inspo.

You would mind wearing high heels? Judging from your second sentence, are you sure you don't mean you wouldn't mind?

this picture: probably the heaviest boot I can pull off.

Whats the point through are you going to robocop one of these?
>>
>>10653501
not sure what you mean by robocop. I'm trying to show you some of the boots I like, in case you've seen a similar pair of boots that is more affordable (most of the boots I've shown run well over $1k retail).

TLDR I'm looking for (affordable) boot recommendations.
>>
>>10653530
"robocop" means "cop" which means "shop".

It's a more meme way to say "cop" used in w2c where to cop.
>>
>>10653530
weew srysly? if you one high heeled chelseas then I hope you have small feet like me (size 6) because if you want afforable higher than normal chelseas you are going to have to look in the girl's section.

I doubt common fast fashion (afforable) stores have that kind of chelseas. Without a doubt, just fuck it... Buy girls, no joke don't be scared, don't be a faggot. If they look good it's a cop.
>>
>>10653396
>>
>>10653549
Gotcha. The Louboutins and Zanottis are sold out and never to return.

I'd cop the SLP boots if I could get them for under $700, but as it stands, they're twice that.
>>
>>10653557
I wear US 8.5 / EU 42. I may look in the girls section. Let me know if you have any recommendations.

These aren't chelseas, btw.
>>
>>10653445
noice, can you recomend any minimalistic watch with a vibe like that?

i recomend you trying the womens boot, ofc its a diferent build and the sizing is different but its worth the try, but youcan get a regular chelsea and take it to a cobbler and ask him to replace tthe heel with a slightly bigger heel or just try slimmer chelseas, the problem with the regular mid tier chelseas is that they´re chunky as fuck

you can try changing the hem ratios to balance your lower proportions

Vacheron Constantin, Jaeger LeCoultre, and Patek are the only brands I can think of that deliver that watch's kind of vibe.

I've attached a Junghans watch that is in some sense similar, but a little more minimalist. Let me know if this is something you like.

Gotcha. Unfortunately I mostly fantasize about high-end watches, so that's what my watch folder is. I have a few examples that are in the <$200 range that you might like.

Here are some by accurist.

well, i was searching in ebay for junghens and theyre like $75usd? very cheap but ofc they´re a but damaged but nothing a trip to the watchmaker cant fix

That's called a tourbillon. Not my style, but Google is going to be your friend.
>>
>>10653739
i've got that watch on the end, the gold one it's really nice, the strap is loooooong as fuck though you have to fold it round twice
>>
Fuck. SLP shoes look so fucking nice. Why can't I be rich?
>>
>>10654402
Why can't other designers make shoes like them that aren't as expensive?
>>
>>10653611
Can anybody vouch for the quality of those? Price seems a little bit too good
>>
>>10655082
the thing with SLP is that the materials are rather expensive or at least pretend to be (the leather used is goat skin, more expensive than cow or pig leatheer) but also the fact that they´re SLP makes them more expensive, most high end stuff price is composed by 10% material, 30% labour and shipping and the rest is pure brand, thats why if you can find something similar cheaper but in the same quaality you should go for it, brands are just that, brands

i know this isnt a business board or anything but its obvious how everything ins this modern world is made, no price of any product ever made by a big company is composed solely on materials and labour, thats right, you geomemes have the same materials as any regular high end leather sneakers
>>
>>10656734
Your pleb is showing
>>
>>10656617
Sure, I understand why SLP boots are priced at their level.

However, I would expect that other brands would undercut SLP on the part of the price that is mostly due to brand: I would expect boots of equivalent quality to be available for less, from lesser-known brands.
>>
>>10653611
Why the hell are their tobacco boots appear as sold out all the time.

When dafuq do they restock?
>>
>>10653757
Please give pics op, I fit your description and also desperately need a pair of chelseas/slim boots. Might cop a pair aswell
>>
>>10658075
I don't live in Sweden, so I probably won't get them for another week or so. Will post when they come in.

Though if someone else has similar boots, hopefully they will post :-)

Sidenote: I'm explicitly not looking for chelseas. Chelseas by definition have part of the sides made of elastic material. (Check google images.)
>>
>>10656617
The whole "you get what you pay for" thing still rings true for SLP and other designer brands. You do pay a large amount for prestige/branding, sure, but their shoes are really of a distinguishing quality. Just look at reviews/unboxings ffs.

A brand to which what you say really does apply is Hermes. Their prices are fucking absurd. I'm sure they make a top quality product, but holy fucking shit 5-7k for a bag?
>>
>>10658082
Funny: I've recently been trying to buy two Hermes belts. The amount of trouble I've had trying to get the belt kits I wanted in-store/on-line is simply absurd. I've easily wasted six hours dealing with the most incompetent customer service.

The best part? The leather belt straps themselves aren't much better than the fakes. (The buckles, however, are.) Feeling the leather, etc. I was surprised how similar it was to the $50 fake straps I've felt.
>>
>>10658109
Huh. My understanding is that Hermes has its own tannery, and their leather is considered to be among the best in the business.
>>
>>10658080
Thanks! I live in Belgium, I think as long as you live in Europe the shipping wont take that long
>>
>>10658141
Importantly: that's not to say that the Hermes leather felt cheap, plasticky, or anything else like that. The leather was of a high quality, and very finely treated.

I was just surprised that the fakes came quite close in terms of leather quality. (Though you could still definitely tell them apart.)
>>
>>10658082
certainly yes, i´ve never managed any high end brand (most of them dont even ship here) but i´ve seen some collections and unboxingm SLP makes some quality products for sure, but i caant feel or se the materials via youtube
