I have a few hundred bucks to spend on clothes and I'm looking towards Lacoste for a few sweaters and maybe a pair of shoes. Should I spend my money on other things or is this brand /fa/ approved?

lacoste is one of the most shitty brands of clothing ive ever bought and worn. I spend a LOT of money on clothes, and lacoste is always my last choice. Go with Ralph Lauren, Hilfiger, or Tommy Bahama if your not a poorfag. Also Vinyard Vines, and Patagonia are really nice
I like the polos.

Lacoste stuff isn't particularly bad in any way, but it might be a bit silly to invest everything in one brand, particularly where Lacoste is incredibly limited in terms of design.
Why not spread your money out more broadly towards other preppy brands, if you really wanna lean into prep that hard? Like, I'm sure you could stretch your money further if you hit up good sales from multiple brands.
