thoughts on 1460 mono doc martens, just for this winter? they are cheap as hell
i'm worried they will look rubbery, but once broken in i want them to look more like this picture
i've had docs before and they lasted like two winters. so worth the little cost; has anyone owned these?
Want black boots but don't want them too shiny and don't want to look like a emo fag
Can anyone help me find a pair
(can't afford these rn)
these look hella cheap but I actually like the design and color
desu these are incredibly similar to docs albeit probably nicer, should I just save my money?
In the winter, I will be walking to and from campus, along the sidewalks, which will occasionally have snow/ice, salt, and/or grit. I was told that that would shred these to bits. Are there any boots in this slimmer style that could hold up to that?
How do you guys feel about jungle boots?
Would they look okay in any fits?
Same. I actually bought and stretched 2Es because it was the largest non-shit-looking pair I could find. Worked out well, but shit was uncomfortable as fuck for the first 2 months. I'm also not convinced it's very healthy and my right foot is calloused as shit, but I'm not sure if it's the shoes, since I don't feel any pressure or discomfort.
damn, who here /wide feet problems/
>always very self conscious because my faggot ass feet are popping out on the insides
kek, fuck off. narrow B is master race.
W2C black leather or black suede ankle booties with heels? Trying to cop a pair for the qt but not too sure where to find a pair that won't leave me financially bleeding
Image semi-related, more heel height though (4" max maybe?)
I just ordered these. Thoughts?
Im a short dude (5'6) Everytime i try on boots it just fucks with my silhouette and makes me look awkwardly proportioned. I try to keep a slimmer silhouette on my legs and feet but winter's coming and i need to keep my feet protected. Can anyone post low profile boot inspo to help me out?
yes my nigga, they are comfy as fuck and are basically just combat boots if you keep em unfolded, which I do
they look kind of weird folded desu cause they don't fold as easy as the pallabrouse or canvas or nylon or whatever shit
Acne Ganville tee. You won't find it anywhere except second hand, but April 77 has similar t-shirts.
Thinking of copping these to wear both casually and semi-formally
canadian military boots. copped a pair a month ago, fuggin shipping from canada cost me 120 though
>fuggin shipping from canada cost me 120 though
You are one dumb motherfucker
I mean still I guess the price is like one fiddy and the quality is great but 120 for shipping, fug indeed
Where do you live?
Meermin is good quality, but you're going to need some good cordovan boots for snow/ice and salt.
I have a pair of these and they work wonderfully. I saw what looked like a re-branded Peal & Co. for Brooks Brothers for about $850 on sale.
That's true, having a job is considered bad around here.
These were my red wings after 2 winters
I wanted to cop these but they are sold out everywhere
About $140, and they're through DSW so obviously not super high quality, but I'm in college just trying to comfortably pull off some semi dressed up meme chrome and stuff. Black chinos (or black jeans), plain tee or black sweater or casual button down, and these on the feet
Recently bit the bullet and bought some viberg CXLs. So perfect. Badass and class wrapped into one package
I copped a pair of these from ebay I got so damn lucky. Great for motorcycle and just general wear.
I think these were only a 90's boot? I don't really know to be honest with you. I'm almost sure they're not mass produced anymore, like I said, I ebay'd them, I think I searched "Bundeswehr Pilotenstiefel" but searching that now brings up nothing.
Question hijack, but how is Dr Martens with warranty on the sole? I've had these for like 4 or 5 years and have worn them pretty lightly (under 100 times probably) but somehow they got a huge crack in the sole.
Looking to cop these cap-toe Wolverine 1k's at $200, thoughts?
non existent, the literal same thing happened to me on two separate pairs, both off the industrial line. First pair did it after a year, second did it in mere months. You can call but you'd have to literally mail your boots off to their warranty center where they'll "decide" whether or not the boots are defective or if you're at fault. You'll also need your receipt and all of your original purchase information.
Fuck Dr Martens.
Anyone know similar combat boots to these? CP ones have crepe soles now so
>you can keep that
I will just post in this thread. I know, hate incoming, but I can't decide which would work best with deep indigo jeans and looks better. I wear workwear styles during winter because they are comfy and verstile. Can't decide between 9016 and 9011.
Nah, last time I wore them was when I was volunteering at a homeless shelter kitchen and we scrub the floors down after the shift so they end up getting cleaned up from that. That's also the reason I noticed the crack in the first place because I was confused to why my socks were getting wet.
That's serious bullshit. Pretty sure they're not resole-able so I guess I'll just trash them.
those are not doc monos
on another note green monos are goat
Anyone know where to cop a decent chelsea for about 150-200$?
Where to cop similar boot for cheaper? W8ing to see if/when they go on sale, but want some alternatives in the meantime.
Trying to pick between pic related or just some black suede chelseas from UO or Asos.
Should I get these? I feel like with some plainer colored laces these would be pretty dope.
I'd prefer a Dainite sole, but these are as close to a plain black English made derby boot as I can find.
>they're cheap as hell
that's because you're literally buying chinese children's tears. I'm not against outsourcing labour to other countries, but I've only heard doc martens have gone to shits in terms of quality.
found some black factory 2nd timbs at a thrift shop that are similar to pic related for $60, good deal?
Buttero. Can be purchased used for $150 on eBay or new for about $300 at Barneys. Out of stock at the moment but they get restocked.
