Buying a suit in ATX

followup question, is it better to buy a 300-500 dollar suit from mens warehouse and spend the rest of the money on getting to tailored to all hell somewhere else.

Also, tailoring will be required either way but be sure that you know what you want. Most tailors work for normies and don't alter things to look like your pic. You'll need to be adamant about having the cuffs/sleeves higher than normal and having the sleeves slimmed.

SS sales associates vary widely in quality and knowledge and have really idiosyncratic tastes that may or may not be what you want; though the common complaint is that they're too fashion forward so maybe it would've been good for you given your image in the OP

regardless since you already know the styling you want (super slim, tapered, short, etc.) you don't really need a sales associate. just find your size and read up on their fits and go for it with a tailor. they have a really easy (free) return policy too so if it's completely off just return/exchange
