What's a good winter boot for <$100? Insulation and waterproofing are a must.
>insulated
>waterproof
>less than $100

I did a courtesy search for you, and found them available on Amazon and select retailers, though they can be hard to track down. The boot is called "Satoro", and it comes in multiple colorways.
The closest I can find to my own is on Amazon at
Creative-Recreation-Mens-Satoro-Boot/dp/B003K175C2
However, the style differs in a few in type of faux-fur, shade of green, and other cosmetic details which leads me to believe this is a different boot from the one I own.
I picked mine up on clearance for $40 at Ross, if it helps.

bean boots

I recommend against these for any kind of hiking. These are strictly for light terrain in cold, snowy weather. Sorel make a similar model to the bean boots with a much better sole for versatility. They can be had second hand for under $100. Any new boot worth having will be $200+ though.

These are boots for hunting not hiking
also I realized he said less than 100, these ones are 200 new

Hey>>10639067
palladiums are like 90 bucks on amazon and If you are a college student you get prime free, grab yourself a pair off amazon for the best deal
>>10639846
I've heard Sorels are absolute shit now, like the production quality has just gone down the drain and they bust seams in months of hard wear
>>10639067
I have the waterproof and wool-lined ones and they're awesome, they handle cold weather and snow like champs
