looks come down to the individuals opinion but the new ones were introduced solely (kek) because the old ones don't meet US army spec. The old ones use a segmented sole with foam in the midsole. The US army objected to both of those things and now the new SFB has a one piece rubber sole like normal boots

This is an "improvement" that makes them better for use in the army, but it takes away one of the more unique features of the boot

One isn't better than the other unless you're in active duty. Grow up and drop the 7th grade mentality

If that was true they wouldn't have introduced newer ones that aren't AR670-1 compliant alongside the ones that are compliant.
